I think everyone knows who I want but I’m suprised Josh McDaniels was on here for another shot.
I’d take Del Rio tomorrow. They keyword in this piece is “stability.” We don’t need another newbie. I’m guessing Patricia has created such a mess it will take a veteran coach to sort out the problems.
Interesting list, but a lot of these names come with some heavy question marks. Interesting that a collegiate OC made the list, but not a single other college coach.
Mariucci was stable, though. So was Caldwell. I like Del Rio but I think the franchise needs to take a shot at an established collegiate coach. If their offers are rebuffed, than go after Del Rio.
I think McDaniels has turned down jobs because he’s been promised the Patriots head coaching position when Belichick steps down.
How about caldwell as gm?
Caldwell’s philosophy as a coach seemed to me to be, “We’re going to do everything exactly this way, and it won’t bring spectacular results, but we will win some and have a shot year after year. I know this because it’s what I’ve always done, and it works.”
I think I’d like more boldness and aggressiveness in the GM position.
Gimme Arthur Smith please. I also don’t mind Braden Coombs.
I think it is going to take a HC with leadership and respect, not a system guy. I’ve seen others mention Del Rio, yeah someone like that might be best for the current state of this franchise.
I want Caldwell involved with the players, if he’s in the building. I feel like that’s his strong suit

Step 1 = hiring Ed Dodds.
Step 2 = defer to Mr. Dodds on his HC & coordinators
Del Rio would also be my first choice if the candidates on that list… For the same reason too, we need someone who’s been in the position before with success.
I would love Pat Fitzgerald as our next HC though I assume that he’d be difficult to pull away from his alma mater.
Tom Allen would excite me as well.
Tom Allen wouldn’t make me mad at all, he’s a leader of men if I’ve ever seen one.
Tim Allen could do better than what we have now (as long as he didn’t set the stadium on fire)
