Individual drills are fun to watch but it doesn’t show how the line will work as a unit. Right now they’re learning a new system, new positions, and new teammates. Pads also just went on. Let’s see who’s impressing three weeks from now. The defense is in their second season in this system. I expect them to be way ahead of the offense.
Yes, this is how football always works. Dline eats to start, then once teams get settled into pads/Oline starts to gel the script usually starts to flip

Does Twentymen have access to the practice film? If not, another reason why he wouldn’t be able to say said Oline does/doesn’t stand out.
It’s not a splash play position, you usually need to run the video back 1-2 times to evaluate how well an Olinemen did on a play. Unless you’re a seasoned Oline coach/OC. A media member is one of the least likely folks to know if an Olinemen is standing out when they’re trying to “capture” moments to write stories without access to the all 22 practice tape
Additionally, the Oline is a unit not just a player. If you are getting a breakdown by one guy or the timing is off by the line things get weird quick.
It truly is one of the situation where the sum is much greater than it parts.
Sure you can grade a tackle for pass blocking…but if they appear to win by "pushing " the DE wide it often forces the QB into the pocket which can cause problem that were not a problem.
Anyway, I think we all know that the Oline is super hard to grade out in 1v1 drills and in general they will be looked at as a unit often.
Sure Sewell is a freak. but even he looks much better when the G next to him and the C are doing their jobs.
