Non-Lions 2026 things worth watching

What are issues on other teams that you’re particularly interested in? For instance:

I’m dying to see what the Eagles OL looks like without Stoutland.

Watching the Packers, Vikings and Bears all regress massively, franchises sold and the their stadiums turned into WalMart parking lots.

Now that’s worth watching.

I always hope for this, and frankly the 30+ years of Bears football pre-Ben was great. But they’ve all been annoyingly unsucky just in time for us to get good. Why can’t we be in a division like the Pats had for all those years under Belichick? Or the AFC/NFC souths?

For sure. Can we join the NFC South please

I’m excited to watch a healthy Travis Hunter as well.

This is an obscure one but I’m kind of dying to see how Keaton Mitchell gets deployed by McDaniel.

Not obscure for fantasy players!

I’m pretty interested to see what kind of effect Minter has on the Ravens D. They were built with that system in mind and really thrived under MacDonald. Let’s just say in leagues where I have to draft a D they find their way onto my roster pretty regularly.

Just how good is Dallas going to be offensively is of interest to me. I hate that I’m feeling this urge but I may lean into that team heavily fantasy wise :face_vomiting:

Their defense might surprise too. I think the impact of Downs + the new coach could be really impactful. Similar to MacDonald + Hamilton (once they could move him to his best position).

Malik Willis on the Dolphins.

I think Carnell Tate is going to have a good rookie season. Tennessee might surprise some people this year.

I also hope Jeremiah Smith gets to go back home to Miami if he’s not going to somehow end up in Detroit, so he can complete the “LeBron of Football” track.

I think so too but a good chunk of that is because I think he’ll get 200 targets. Good player still, but man he went to a great spot to put up numbers.

I’m targeting him in fantasy, pun not intended.

I am too but he’s gotten pretty pricey. Everyone else sees the same thing I do. Hopefully he’ll be a little cheaper in home leagues.

I have the turn in my top league, so I’m thinking one of my 5th/6th picks can be him. He might end up being my WR2.

Our league also has a stupid run on QBs early every year so I’m thinking of taking Josh Allen at 13 so I can get in front of it and not get stuck with someone like Justin Fields like I did last year.

I think it’s a wise marriage of QB and WR. I’m not sure that Tate will be a great separator but I don’t think Cam will care.

Surely there were some other guys who could have been had later who turned out good and you just got the wrong one? When did Stafford go? He was a ww guy in our league.

He most certainly will not

Cool question. Lions are #1 of course, but I’m a big NFL fan.

I love the Rams. Love my boy Stafford. They look like they have a dream team. and Donald might come back. So that looks fun to watch.

I look forward to seeing how well DMo plays. Plus I really like the Texans and that defense. Defense is my favorite thing.

I hope my boy AG does well with the Jets.

I like the Colts

Interested to see Harbaugh with the Giants.

Curious to see Minter with with the Ravens.

Cheering against our rivals who i loath, and I have no confidence that any of them will be good. But the NFL will push GB like they always do.

Another season of hoping Erin Rodgers flops. I don’t care who he plays for.

I am curious to see what’s up with Travis Hunter. I never really understood that whole thing. Trading two number 1’s for what? You know no one can play two positions full time. And is he great at either? I mean, that is exciting so I am interested.

Its crazy how bad the South divisions are and how bad the AFC E (excluding Buf) is.

In the last 4 years.

Detroit has averaged a 11-6 season with a 8.0/10 massey rating. While the other 3 in the division averaged 8.5-8.5 with a 5.3/10rating.

Buffalo??

12-5 with a 9.6/10 better right? BUUUT The rest of the NFC E? 7-10 record and 3.5/10 rating. Like buffalo expects to go 5-1 minimum in the division. where the NFC north everyone goes 3-3

Over all last 4 years?

NFC north combined 57.2% win% (meaning averaging 9-8 with a combined 6.00/10 massey.

Both south divisions? About 38.2% (6.5-10.5) with a combined 3.3/10. they are so bad.
