Out of his league? When they met he was a starting QB for a BCS playoff team.
She’s pretty and all but it’s kind of in a banal dime a dozen pretty way. And the whole social media follower obsession makes her feel ugly on the inside to me. But that is more of a Zuck ruined the world stance as opposed to anything specific to her.

I can’t believe Browning got cut for a UDFA rookie.
He is definitely an upgrade over Dobbs. Holmes should be calling but I doubt we do. I think it’s a salary cap thing.
QB decisions were weird this year. Four teams keeping four QBs? 12.5% of the league is rostering four quarterbacks. That strikes me as exceedingly rare.
I think Stone will clear waivers and test free agency (if there’s any interest) before signing onto a PS.
He would be a good depth piece for us at FS. I think this is a call we should be making.
An incentive laden contract makes sense to me. Especially since he’s a known ball hawk type.

I think part of that is because the last few QB classes were exceptionally strong. So there’s some QB needy teams.
5 teams, I think. I think they’ve all decided keeping the developmental QB has more upside than the 6th LB, and frankly I agree. Though how they intend to get those QBs any reps to develop I have no idea, and I suspect they don’t either.

Running the scout team lets them work with the QB coach and sitting in the QB room helps them learn the game. But it’s hard to grasp the offense and gel with the WR’s doing that.
From the scout team they have to make some noise which will get gen some increased reps.
If they give them reps with the starting units it will only take away from the readiness of their #2.
Right but we’re talking 4 QBs here. The 3rd is usually the one who runs the scout team, are they going to cut those reps in half?

That is usually what happens. It’s rare for teams to carry 4 the entire season though. If one guy starts to stand out over the other it would be likely they send that guy packing.
Hope springs eternal until the games are played.
Certainly possible, perhaps even likely, but the fact that so many kept 4 is the outlier occurrence that sparked the conversation to begin with.

Eh, there have been plenty of weak QB classes over the years. I think it’s more likely to be a shift in how FOs do things, likely analytics-driven. They probably realized the 6th LB makes very little impact on the team’s success overall, whereas the ceiling at QB is worth holding on to. Maybe not that exactly, but something like that.

My guess is teams are waiting until competitors active rosters are settled and then will push one down. I think we’re just seeing more roster gamesmanship.
I also think there are a few instances where teams who have made QB mistakes are unrealistic with what they are expecting to recoup and so they’re waiting to see if something develops.
