There were a few low-level QB trades before cut down day, maybe that’s impacting them.

Actually, this makes a lot of sense. Think of it this way. Teams are a hell of a lot more likely to part with magic beans for a potential developmental QB than they are a 6th LB. Browns did this with Pickett last year, and still got something out of it. Even Kenny Pickett got the Browns a 5th round pick for the next draft.
And in the outlier case a QB hits, he’ll be worth a mint. It’s a juice worth the squeeze scenario (that said the 6th LB isn’t normally being kept with beans in mind, I think the equation is ‘impact on our team of a 6th LB < potential development of QB’).
I believe it was 2023, but Iffy actually played well for us the one season he managed to stay healthy. I remember multiple sacks and interceptions that year. He was just always hurt.

It was 2023. Iffy basically saved our defense that year. Once the Lions started using Iffy and Branch as rotating blitzers, with Kerby staying at deep safety, we were off and running. Our corners were terrible, remember our #1 was Cam Sutton, and our 2nd corner was a mash up of Kindle Vildor, Khalil Dorsey and Jerry Jacobs. That extra pressure coming from the safeties and LB’s is what allowed us to hide the atrocity of our CB’s.
