Odds are the Lions arnt winning 14+ games

So I looked at winning percentage from 2001 to 2024.

On average

So basically.
1 team at 14+ wins

3 teams with 13 wins through 6 wins each
5 teams 5 wins and under

Just goes to show how wild that 4!!! Of those 19 teams with 14+ wins were last year.

The other 15 were from 01-23

Nobody ā€œarnt’sā€ anything.

I don’t care how many wins they have, as long as we win the division.

Don’t even care about that if they win super bowl

Well hard to imagine winning 15 games and then following that up with 14 the next season. But I didn’t see us winning 15 last year and sure as hell didn’t with the injuries the team suffered. I know one thing though, DC is going to absolutely love all the doubters. Can only imagine what some of his speeches are going to be like!!!

They’re going to have a damn good team, they are going to compete for a Super Bowl and they will win 10 games in the regular season and will have to fight tooth and nail to make the playoffs.

I think 12 is our ceiling and I don’t think we get there. Last year was a bit flukey which showed in the playoffs.

I’m still not sold on our ability to generate pressure on the Qb. Especially all the mobile QBs we face.

I think losing one of the best defensive players in the nfl in week 5 and then sweeping the north while winning 15 games says a lot. Keep doubting this team.

Same number as last season.

This is not a news flash. There aren’t a lot of easy teams on our schedule. Regular season success this year is winning the NFC North. If we do that and aren’t crippled with injuries again, that gaunlet of competition will have prepared us well to preserve our status as the only NFC North team to have never lost a Super Bowl.

I don’t think anyone is doubting the Lions. They have a very good team but the NFL is a competitive league and the Lions schedule is going to be very stiff. A lot of things have to go right to win 15 games. I think a team like the Niners isnt as good as the Lions but they will probably finish with a better record than the Lions by 3+ wins. That’s the NFL.

If you think that you must think the Lions are a 8-9 win team. I have the Lions winning 12 games this upcoming year and I doubt the Niners are a 15-16 win teamšŸ˜‰

Strength of schedule is always different once the season starts. As we know injuries can take a toll and who knows what teams will look like in week 1 or week 8 of the season. If the lions win 11 games, which is very possible, you have SF with 14 wins? I don’t even have SF winning their division.

Especially teams losing their qb… It can go from great to bad in a hurry when Tim Boyle is taking the field…lol most teams have a shitty backup. Just aint enough good qb’s out there.

I have the Lions winning 10 -11 games and the Niners winning 13-14 and getting the 1 OA seed. Oddsmakers have the Lions line set right at 10.5. I don’t think the Niners have a great team at all but they have a good enough team to roll through their cupcake schedule.
