In all honesty, next off season we’re going to have to give some serious thought about drafting a G and C. Right now, I think they’re the top positions of need for 25.

Fraley is doing a great job. But the oline has 4 1st round picks… talent matters a ton. Hank would be the 1st to say how lucky he is to have such talent.

In the incoming new talent gets developed wonderfully… As well as the level of execution and professionalism in the intricate plays that we run.

“they are starting to build for the future, as well. Sewell is only 23, while Detroit has developmental options in Giovanni Manu (23) and Colby Sorsdal (23)”

Christian Mahogany is 23 as well. It is easy to imagine those 4 guys being our starters in 2-3 years.

If Fraley turns Sorsdal and Manu into studs… give him a lifetime contract for sure. I’m simply pointing out how he’s got several studs in the litter right now.

@BigNatty could coach Sewell and Ragnow!!!

Natty - Go kick ass again and take names

Sewell - Right on coach I got you. Where do you get those toads again?

Ragnow - How many fish did u catch this summer coach? But yea I got you.

They’d be bald if I did

Does baldness cure chronic toe injuries? If so someone do a sneak attack on Ragnow asap

Adds the distraction of handsomeness.
Causes others to think you are soft when you are that attractive.

It helps
…A LOT!!!

So do the Saints (Penning, Ramcyzk, Ruiz, and last year Peat) and they still suck. Now they’ve dropped Peat but added Fuaga. The Falcons have 3 1sts and a very high 2nd and they were OK last year (good run blocking, bad pass blocking). The Chargers will have four guys drafted in the 1st round this year, the Jets will have 3 and a high-2nd rounder. More resources does not equal success.

I agree that we can’t really keep throwing quite so many resources at the OL, we need to hit on some later-rounders like every other team (though Zeitler, while a former 1st rounder, wasn’t nearly that expensive for us). But just spending the resources doesn’t mean it will work out.
