That was just an odd play. Goff pre-determined his throw to LaPorta and the safety had Montgomery in man. The safety ran into LaPorta which slowed the route.

Unfortunately, this start doesn’t surprise me. We all know the struggle with running QBs, and now their D-line seems a bit better. I think we still win but it won’t be as pretty as we would like

What about the first drive was coaching? Players were mostly in position. Fields was awesome. It happens.
These are the best athletes in the world. Fields is like a top 5 overall athlete in the league.

After replay, that should’ve been pass interference. That contact caused the int.
