Jackson has the motor man. Size and strength too. I just don’t like his change of direction a ton.

Benjamin Morrison is the one guy I ever saw actually lock down Marvin Harrison in college. Will Johnson had a good play or two against him and spent the other 50 snaps getting punked.

I liked what I saw in the Senior Bowl. You know more than me judging from your posts, but he seems Lionsy to me too.

he just isn’t athletic. As you said, high motor. He is Hutch, but without the freak athleticism.

I just don’t think he tackles well enough for us. Probably the best pure cover guy in the class, but if you can’t tackle, you’re probably not gonna be a Lion. Same with Wiggins last year.

Also the two hip surgeries scare me quite a bit.

I just want to put this out there even though it’s not based off of hopium and reading of the tea leaves:

I truly do believe that we have Will Hernandez lined up on a one year deal if we strike out at Guard. Or strike out in terms of year 1 starter at Guard. Obviously he needs to know that he has a starting spot to rebuild his market for next off-season.

Yeah that is the question for the rest of the draft: what contracts do they have lined up. Hernandez? Zadarius? If they have those guys lined up they can afford to develop a guy for a year.

I don’t see a reason not to think that @CuriousHusker. Vets, they have made a visit or played with us. I do think they are in Detroit in the Fall.

How do we get

Schwesinger, Sawyer, Femi or Jones, and Tory Horton.

Really wish we had them extra picks from Philly, late 4th and 5th is equal on the trade value chart for pick 28 - 32 swap.

I saw a projection that we may have a board of over 12 DE targets on day 2. Sounds like DT was a short list of two, hence the reason to not trade down. We will get a DE that we like today.
