People freaking out about draft capital seem to forget how young and locked up our skill position players are……next years 3rds mean nothing for this year or next!

I see 3rd round picks as quality depth at the very least, and potential starters in some cases. I definitely don’t see 3rd rounders as throw away picks.

5 - 7 rounders sure, throw away picks. 4th rounders might hit once in a blue moon or can be used as leverage. 1-3 rounders are more of a foundation of your team type players to me.

Nope. But Brad is going to Brad. Not much we can do but witness it and hope for the best.

We just have too many IF’s. Hutch is a monster. Davenport is a risk. Z isn’t signed and isn’t what he once was. Paschal is a solid big end against run but isn’t a stud in rush.

We have to be planning a lot of Barnes and Levi to generate the rush.

I love our team and trust our staff as they have turned this ship around but I would love just one more solid, young rusher!

I’m not even convinced Hutch will be 100%. Hutch’s super power is his agility. He’s ridicilously agile and great with his hands. If that agility isn’t there, he will be far less effective.

I don’t know how many times leading up in the draft he has flat out said he’s not drafting an edge just to draft an edge

Based on last year and this year with the pass rush being our biggest need BY FAR, it’s clear that Brad has decided we’re not drafting DE……period.

If he has something else waiting like Zadarius….great but this appears to be a complete aversion to improving the pass rush.

I love him as our GM but this pick was mystifying.
