Shaving too many points for my liking. He went in round 7.

What about Johnny Walker?

How many QBās do I need for the love of god!? Uncle Rico can throw the ball over a mountain for crying out loud.

Iām just trying to figure out how to game the system. The 1 year I played fantasy football, really boring IMO, but I studied the rules and found if I drafted defensive players that also were either a KR or PR that I got a point for every 10 return yards plus huge points if they scored a special teams TD. So the other guys all had the best defensive players in the league and mine was stacked with nobodies, except for Hester, who were returners. And, yeah, I won.
I wish you luck, as @Sofatso said above⦠this competition means everything, it could be a life changing event.

9 would be the correct score in your scenario.
But itās not 9 instead of 8.
8 is the max you can score for a correct pick in any round plus you get bonus round points based on which round you made the pick in.
Round 1 = 1 Bonus point. 8+1=9
Round 5 = 5 Bonus points. 8+5=13
So a correct answer in the latter rounds is worth more than one in the earlier rounds.
It took me years to come up with a scoring system thatās hard to manipulate. So if anyone sees a flaw in it please speak up.
Our old den mock contest guys just traded down loaded up on picks and won because they made 20 picks. I found that to be dishonest and took away the sport of the game. This system is designed to take cheating out and to create a more level playing field.
So trading up and trading down doesnāt really help you much. Itās all about being correct.
The guy who gets more late round picks right will have an advantage over a guy who gets more early round picks correct. As he should.
Is it really necessary to ask the 2 tie breaker questions instead of 1? I f I say 4 on defense would that not be the same as 6 on offense? Fun game thank you!
Thereās 3 questionsā¦. Butā¦. Yes thereās a reason itās structured the way it is.
Just an FYI @JerseyJungle, you have McFadden listed as a WR when heās an OL. I assume you meant to go WR there since you went Daniels with the next pick and just got your wires crossed. Just wanted to let you know. When I win I donāt want anyone to be able to make any excuses.
Thank you. I was just trying to give you guys a fighting chance?
Because the Raiders picked Ray Guy in round 1?
Its interesting to me how many people are picking DTR as a late round QB. I like him, but I like him as number three among those who are not Young, Stroud, AR, Hooker and Levis. Not much love for Jarran Hall and Clayton Tune both of whom Iād select before DTR. Who is your QB past round 4?

Yeah Iām not seeing the DTR love at all. But I do believe that drafting at least one QB every year is a good idea. I remember watching Aidan OāConnell as a freshman and thinking his mechanics and accuracy reminded of an old Cal QB, who had not to long ago went number 1 overall. Then Aidan either got injured or beat out of the starting qb role and I forgot about him till this last season. I think thereās potential there. But itās a late round QB, the overwhelming majority of them will never throw a pass in a meaningful game.
the good thing about OāConnell is heās used to pressure and has a very quick release. He makes alot of WTF throws though, and heās basically a statue. He strikes me as someone who will hold a clipboard well (that sounds derogatory, but its not meant to be), I think he studies the game well. But Iād have to put him at the tail end of my list (in addition to the three above, Iād put McKee, Heaner and Bennet over him.
I can explain, Lucy. Brad takes AR if heās there at #6. But AR is not. Will Anderson Jr is.
#6OA Will Anderson Jr, DL
How did that happen? The Villain works in mysterious ways.
#18OA Traded to Minnesota for #23OA plus their own 4th round picks in 2024 and 2025. (I know you pigs want more, and Brad may well get more.) Kwesi buys a Hooker, Tampa Bay is pissed.
#23OA Emmanuel Forbes, DB
Twiggy approves. Skinny but largely uninjured in 3 SEC seasons. Ballhawk, assignment sound with good risks.
#48OA Matthew Bergeron, OL
Heāll compete with Kayode Awosika for one or possibly 2 starting guard spots in 2024. Back-up OT on day one.
#55OA Jake Haener, QB
Tough, leader, accurate, elite S2.
#81OA Marvin Mims Jr, WR
Team captain, young, has speed, moves and hands now, traits to develop route running.
#152OA Darrell Luter Jr, DB
Draft pundits will call him A Steal. NFL offenses will call him The Looter.
#159OA Marte Mapu, DB
A torn pectoral muscle preventing combine and pro day participation causes Eminem to be simply irresistible to Brad Holmes. He starts season on PUP.
#183OA Brodric Martin, DL
Run plugger/pocket pusher with loooong arms.
#194OA Antonio Mafi, OL
Moves well for a mauler, converted from DL 2 seasons ago, clay for Fraley.
