Agreed. Wandale is the perfect security blanket for a young QB. But the rest is spending big to fill a roster.

JFM is a good player, I guess. I don’t know if he’s worth $20M+ a year. The rest…I don’t even think they’re that good.

JFM is like Odey in CHI. Good player but defintely not worth 20m+ as rushing the passer is not really what they do from their first position which is DE. But they are an asset rushing the passer when they can kick in on obvious passing downs.
Valuable, but expensive when you need another guy to play a lot snaps behind them. I like both as 3-4 Ends more than 4-3 guys.

I mean, he requested his release. He probably went public to force the Lions’ hand, but they’ve yet to official grant him his request.
Maybe the convo was “we want to go tackle in Rd1. And we would like that to be an open competition.” Along with taking a pay cut. Of course that would’ve grinded his gears.

@Martymcfly2017, I have no idea what we are going to do -or not, do here or in our draft and remainder of the offseason. I’ll admit that (I) am an impatient person -always have been in all things, so rn I’m just watching somewhat and waiting.
