That is, but the two picks people have been talking about in here are for this year’s signings and won’t come through until next year. This list is for last year’s free agent signings, of which we’ve only been expecting to get one for months now. Honestly I shouldn’t have posted it in here but eh.

I mean we have 2 6ths right now according to drafttek…that’s what I was referring to. Most of everyone else’s matches what drafttek was projecting.

Yes but those are just our 6th round picks and have nothing to do with the comp formula. The list I posted was the comp picks that were awarded for this year, not ALL of the picks. So now we have an additional 5th round pick.

So OL floor is set. Draft addition likely coming but I’m pretty happy with what we got accomplished for the money. I’m assuming that Larry will be reasonable.

Right. Building through the draft, and re-signing your own guys is the way. It’s always been. We have a down year now everyone wants big changes. The guy only brought us from the worst sports franchise to contenders in 3 seasons. I’m all about letting the guy do his thing. If he makes mistakes and we have another down year then we’ll see.

Plus, it’s not like he doesn’t do anything. He does make trades, and signs free agents that help. Mays may not cost a billion dollars but it’s still a 3-year deal, 25mil, and got us a replacment for GG. This is a good move IMO.
