Don’t know what I was thinking, but up to a hour ago thought it was a 1pm kickoff. Now i have to wait three more hours!

ESPN talking about how Detroit neutered Crosby and now Detroit has their starting OL back.
Lions are established, a solid football team, we aren’t teh bears, we aren’t the jets, we are the Detroit Lions and we are different. Detroit can take another step with a win today. Damn…Detroit established…been like never since I’ve heard that said about the Lions
Last Opportunity to do this was against Baltimore and well…enough said…
Then coaching comparison as they both came into the league at the same time.

The all white uni’s are my least favorite all time color scheme.
However:
We seem to play well in them more then we usually SOL. So, let’s f’ing go!
OL is the #1 key to a victory today imo - run block well and protect Goff and it’s a W
#2 key is getting a pass rush on Herbert, somebody else besides Hutch (who’ll be getting double teamed and held all game) has to step up and do football things. Can’t let the Chargers offense get hot and get up by a couple scores early, or it’s a deathnell for Goff and the offense against that Chargers DL if they can simply tee off.

Wish they wore the blue helmets with the all white uni’s…
Don’t expect big plays on offense or sacks on defense… Chargers defense is built on not giving up big plays and getting pressure on the QB… I see a lot of quick passes and a heavy dose of D-Mo and Gibbs. On defense, contain Herbert to avoid extending plays and don’t get beat deep.
