Packers starting LG and LT both out. We couldn’t take advantage of that vs the Hawks, sure hope we can make them pay with backups on the left side. Jenkins is a very good guard, they should miss him. Bakhtari seems to always be hurt.
so important to know what their backups are good/bad at.
Are they road grading rush blocking guys? are they pass blocking specialists? how to do they pick up stunts?
PFF would be good for that info in aggregate.
I think Glenn thought our DEs would run over and around Seattle and that didn’t happen at all. Instead they went with a heavy package with extra TEs to block and be outlet receivers and we played contain on the great running Geno.
I’m guessing with just a bit of homework, we can figure out if the Packers will try to ground and pound behind their backups or rely on them for a quick short pass game like the seahawks.
Packers CB Jaire Alexander (back) will not play in Week 4 against the Lions.
Linebacker De’Vondre Campbell is also out for Week 4. Sans their top corner, Green Bay, like most teams, will struggle to contain Amon-Ra St. Brown. The third-year wideout already has two 100-yard games under his belt this year and will look for his third on Thursday.
So you’re betting on AG with a little help from his friends will be a match for or at least adjust to Matt LaFleur’s game plan? Despite last year’s results, I’m afraid AG will get Pete Carrolled again. Maybe that’s just my big game fear talking though…
