One thing to note for the Lions game. It’s warm, and very breezy today, even more than regular Kansas breezy. Wind gusts are expected to be around 30 mph toward game time. That will make kicking and deep passes difficult to control. Guess which team will be counting on deep passes to work the most?

I told my son that the Chiefs may have the refs tonight, but God is showing up for the Lions.

When talking a big breeze the biggest concern is Special Teams. I always wondered why TV broadcasts didn’t show wind direction & speed on the screen.

Nice! Just looked on a map. There’s not much up there 2 hrs N or Toronto? I believe you’re in Ontario but I have heard that Quebec has some of the last true wilderness on the planet. I guess that’s true of most of northern Canada though.

Yeah, I’m feeling a loss in this one as well. Just way too many injuries to key players and a Kansas City team that will be desperate for a win in Primetime in Arrowhead, all signs are pointing to a loss but the Lions always find a way to perform under the bright lights so we’ll see.

I heard reports that the plan is for Mac to play 20-25 snaps next week to begin to acclimate back.

I haven’t seen those reports, but definitely possible. Sounded like he was close this week. I just wouldn’t be shocked with how close they are to the bye that they ride out some of these injuries for extra recovery time.

I’m 50/50 on tonight. I could see the Lions showing up in Primetime like usual and winning, but I could also see Mahomes having an exceptional night and them winning too. Wouldn’t be surprised either way. What I’m confident in is if the Chiefs win, it will have to be through the air cause they aren’t running their way to a victory.

I think the Lions gonna win very decisively. KC will look worse than the Ravens did. DET will be crowned the undisputed best team in football when they win by 20.

Everyone’s talking about the Lions injuries at CB but KC’s starting DB’s are allowing a 68% completion rate. Think about that for a minute.

Exactly. Limiting long passes hurts the Chiefs. Their biggest plays are chucking up prayers and its either a catch or penalty. Running the ball and short passing game helps the Lions.
