I think we may well lose to, yet I am very optimistic-going to be a good game.
Puts them in the bottom 3rd of the nfl.
In comparison the Lions are allowing 63% and that puts us in the top 3rd.
If you get there early enough Storm, any updates on how Branch or Joseph look in warm ups would be appreciated.
I’m assuming we will get inactives before you arrive, but maybe not.

I’m anticipating a high level of frustration in yet another game where the Lions will be playing against both the Chefs and the Refs
Hey man you’re a poet. Probably a typo but I like the sound of Chefs vs Chiefs plus it rhymes w Refs ![]()
It’s actually a reference to an old Snickers commercial where the field painter paints Chefs in the endzone instead of Chiefs. They’ve been the Chefs to me ever since.
Lions are going to pancake the Chefs.
Let’s look at this a little closer.
KC has the 5th most pass attempts per game. They throw about 37 times a game.
KC’s offense has historically been an offense that likes to take shots but. This year they’re down from their average. Meanwhile DET under Morton has been above their average. KC’s offense has a higher proportion of deep risk throws than DET and more aggressive shot taking than the Lions so they should be more effected by the wind.
However…. Detroit is a timing based passing attack and Goff relies heavily on timing his routes. So this could affect his timing and our intermediate routes. It could slow our ability to make first downs. Detroit probably will reduce deep attempts, favor high efficiency, intermediate throws, slants, tight crossing patterns, and rely more on the run game and play action. While both teams offensive scheme is flexible enough to adapt… I believe that adapting to shorter passes and more runs ultimately favors the Lions.
Let me add…. This could hurt us more than them in the kicking game.
We…uh…couldn’t…uh…find any rushing statistics for comparison purposes ![]()
Justin Rogers not seeing Branch during DB drills.

Kerby and Branch are active tonight
Not sure I agree with that with so much season ahead.
Not much to agree with. If medical clears them, and the pain tolerance is ok, not much the coaches can do right? Only so many guys you can make inactive. Only ‘healthy’ scratches I see are Wingo and Strickland. Everyone else is down for medical.
I guess they could have swapped Strickland for one of them and that’s about it.
Looks like Kirby and Branch are playing.
Chiefs scoreboard says Simmons officially out. If that hasnt been posted yet.
I guarantee you they want to play.
Need a big night from Hutch with all the question marks in the secondary
