We are still mathematically alive for all the other six seeds regardless of if we lose.

Even though I forgot the Jets… Lions still have a top 5 pick locked up because the Jets play Dolphins 2 times still… and the Jets also play Jags and Texans!
Jags and Texans still play each other 1 more time.

WFT has NYG and 2 games against Philly.
The cellar dwellers around the Lions all have chances to win more games.

If the Lions knock the draft out of the park on defense like they can, say, getting Thibodeaux, Dean, Brisker, and Gardner from Cincinnati, the defense will keep us in every game next year. I don’t see playoffs necessarily, but the defense will be good enough to get us there. I just hope Goff won’t totally suck like he does now, but there’s a very likely chance he does.
But for this year? Yeah we’re done.
