That’s a Yahoo rule, so you CANNOT blame me for it!!
I got Dingler and Tork! So I just cheer for long bombs
I drafted Griffin, Bubba Chandler, and Weatherholt in my keepers league. Cornhusker must be a pretty smart fella.
We understand @stephenboyd57
- Bols is looking over my shoulder.
One more question. Can a player lose positions he once played in the past? Varsho for example never plays left field anymore. Hasn’t in 2 years, but left field is an option. Is that gonna disappear soon?
I think you’re good for the season.
How many grannies in the orgy tonight? 2 dudes is risky at best
Gonna need 3, maybe 4 Golden Girls

That’s a question for @Weaselpuppy but I doubt they take away eligibility from anyone during a season.
Ours is a redraft league, so it was a risky strategy, but DeLauter has been one of the best players in the sport so far so it’s working for him.
Kinda crazy that a guy could play RF 5 years ago and still count as a RF now. And play left field 5 times in his entire career and count there
Springer for example should not count in the outfield at all.
This league is rigged. I demand a redraft. The commish is in on it. Just look at his record.

Wetherholt and Chandler are on the opening day rosters and both should be very productive. Konnor Griffin is hitting .500 in AAA right now and it’s probably just a matter of time before he gets called up. Griffins tools might be one of the best in history. He will be special.
Any position that a player qualifies for either from five starts this year or 20 starts last year( those are the standard Yahoo thresholds) is a position they will continue to be eligible for throughout this season. Different platforms handle minor Leaguers differently in that Konnor Griffin is eligible as a center fielder I believe even though he hasn’t played center field in the majors.
I think he played it in the miners though I’d have to check. As far as some guys who are eligible at positions where they haven’t played in years while the games played eligibility shouldn’t be there so it may be assigned there by Yahoo for some reason though I don’t understand their Rhyme or Reason on some of those. I’ll dig into it a little bit more I’ve been commissionering leagues on Yahoo for a couple decades. I’m just happy that Varsho is no longer eligible at catcher, where he played many many years ago because that would be quite the advantage.
Positional eligibility is a big deal in this league so that you have a lot of places you can flip guys around to be able to maximize the number of at bats you get in a week. It’s important as a picture too now that the draft is over you can see why you take a look at my roster
Most leagues don’t do what we’re doing with the specific positon outfielders, right? I know it wasn’t standard settings when I made the league.
They don’t. The scoring and positions here are advanced and IMO are optimized to mirror MLB play as closely as possible. Much more fun and thought provoking than OG 4x4 roto or standard 5x5 with generic OF slots. Which are fine, I play in both styles of thsoe as well, 4x4 limited to just NL players which is THE original fantasy baseball format
Sure- go after my guy. Our commish wrote the book on integrity—

Love how you tell us now. ![]()
Having figured out what I have about our system thus far, I really like your suggestion to not have average categories and OPS. That, plus the depth of the league at 14 teams, makes roster building a really fun challenge. You can’t be super good at everything right away.
So you’re siding with the pot smoking kid from Bama?
Who is mocking his opponents after week 1.

No, I’m just a prospect degenerate.
