I know earlier that you said you thought Arraez was the most underrated player in baseball but I really think that title goes to Chandler Simpson.
I couldn’t believe his average draft position. I ended up getting him at the end of my draft in all 3 of my leagues. He is never going to be confused as a homerun hitter but man he is so valuable in some categories.

Yeah he’s having a phenomenal year…for the type of player he is. I tried to draft him.
He’s Arraez with elite speed.

He was killing it in the minors. His bat to ball skills don’t profile in a way that he should be able to hit with such a high average. His plus power and double plus speed are for real though.

Honestly its a good time to try. Its savy to try at least. Even more savy to say no because I got a feeling the dumper has a huge breakout coming.

I’m never opposed to a move, but on someone like Cal I know I’m never going to get what he’s worth right now and it wasn’t a very appealing offer anyways lol. Always worth a shot though.

In fairness Cal was amazing last year but for most of his career he’s usually a 25 to 30 homer type guy. The outlier was last year.
I bet he still hits you 30 bombs.

haha possibly. I think catching is very hard on the body. And teaching Cal how to play 1st base would make a lot of sense long term. Play 1st, stay healthy, hit dingers.
Catching is just a recipe to get beat up, tired and injured.
