Unfortunately the Jays offense decided to score a bunch of meaningless runs in the top of 9th and made Cease sit there and wait for 15 mins before coming back out. Real hard to do. Amazing performance though. Definitely in the Cy Young race

Triples are great. Caught stealing drives me crazy and oh yea injuries ■■■■■■■ blow. I now have 6 good players on the IL and only 4 spots.
Next year we’re going to have like 10 IL spots, but I’m going to disable the feature that allows you to add a guy from FA directly into an IL spot. I think that’s a fair way of doing it.
I don’t have a problem with someone picking up a guy to stash because he’s hurt, but I do think it’s an issue when you do ten of those when you don’t have to, or something.
I’m open to feedback for or against on that potential change.

The two cover stars for the all star game on Fox’s World Cup coverage: Juan Soto and Yordan Alvarez.
I kept both Ohtani the hitter and the pitcher this year. I’m realizing that was a mistake. If he gets injured and can’t play at all I’m screwed, and to be honest, I’m seeing signs of him breaking down because of the workload of doing both things.
I probably wouldn’t trade the hitter at all but once he has a healthy start at pitcher I think I’m going to see what I can get for him.
