With that said, holds are a disgraceful stat.
A great 3 out hold in the 7th or 8th inning sure.
But giving up 3 hits, 2 runs and having your bullpen buddy save your ass? And still get a hold is terrible.
Not just talking shit, cause it helped me a couple weeks ago. But you don’t deserve a hold when you suck balls and your teammate saves your ass.
Gotta be a new stat for that.
