I don’t buy this at all. Tennessee would KILL MICHIGAN. Michigan really doesn’t belong in the conversation other than they pulled off the huge upset in Columbus. But many people thought the Vols would win that game in Columbus because they felt OSU, particularly Ryan Day, were completely broken.
Hey Urban said it…iut why I am kinda surprised that no one ever questioned him or even investigated what he said. Urban said specifically that he had one guy on staff that his only job was to watch every single thing that TTUN did for the entire year. I can’t see how that is any different than what Michigan was investigated for, even the in-person scouting.
So, UM fans aren’t as fragile as OSU fans is what you are saying.
I like how a ND fan came in and mediated this to a common sensical proper answer.
Well done Richard.
In the meantime…
I may have gotten it wrong in hindsight, mea culpa.
Fragile is not the correct word.
Entitled is better and evidence of that can be seen here and elsewhere.
Like I said, let’s see what happens with Oregon, totally different animal. I think their Oline advantage ends up winning the game, but I’ve been wrong before.
No, it’s not cheating to “know everything” Michigan does. That’s the point some of us made all last season. The sin was sending mom to games with her cellphone. A violation for sure, but not an earth shattering one that shakes the very foundation of college football. Some pumped it up to be that. Specifically a certain fan base. They didn’t want a level playing field.
you know, these Ohio State fans? You know, they’ve got a psychotic obsession with Michigan and they need to go get therapy or something to try to get it fixed,” Saban said. “They have a chance to win the national championship and here you are, you know, and nobody’s excited about their opportunity to play because they, you know, lost to Michigan, which was a tough game and they lost the game, probably, by some of the mistakes that they made. Those are correctable things.”
