OK, am I wrong here?

As I was driving back home this afternoon, I saw this in a new neighbor’s garbage pile. So I picked it out out of the trash. I know some people in Indiana and I was thinking of giving it to them, but it’s such a great photo that I might end up keeping it myself. I’ve never picked anything out of the trash before and I feel a little dirty. Also hoping I’m not on their door cam. It’s about 30” diagonal.

Be careful, it might be cursed!

Like maybe some dude gave that to his wife for Christmas. And she’s the one throwing it out.

Seriously, I once saw a nice big wooden cutting board, like three inches thick, and about 30x20 inches, walking past a neighbor’s house. Looked fine to me. Took it home and cleaned it and used it every day for years.

I think it was actually tossed by a landlord, as it was among other things. Anyway, not just you.

Have a friend who took an old army trunk out of the garbage. It had an old violin inside. He got it cleaned up and sold it for $3000.00

Trash and Treasure. It’s a thing at least here in the DMV. Feel good you rescued something you like

If it was thrown away in a manner that it was visible while driving by, then it was with the intention that somebody would grab it.

Oscar, that’s what I named a Scout that I rescued out of a field this summer.

I love that vehicle. Wanna sell it to a Canadian?

Vintage trucks like that are all the rage in Costa Rica among the beach crowd.

It’s like, cool truck. Mine is older and in better shape than yours. Pura vida.

It definitely was. It was leaned up against some baby toys they had out there.

It must be OK. Something similar happens on a lot of crime shows.

At some bowling alley in Muncie, Indiana this week…

Sometimes a person makes the hard decision to let things go. Some things are easy to take to ReStore or GoodWill, and some things the old lady tells you is trash but you’re certain someone could want it. “I’ll take it out a couple days early and see if someone grabs it.”

Will that be in Pesos?

This one is my beachcomber.
