I havent heard him mentioned around these parts. He is a strange prospect coming from Tennessee where they over rotate dlinemen to keep them fresh. He averaged only 200 snaps each of the last 3 years. But his pass rush win rate and production is awesome. (5 sacks in 2024) Everyone wonders why he didnt get more snaps regardless of how deep they were. He could go mid second thru late 3rd. Anyone have a take on him? He basically had 1 season worth of snaps evenly spread over 3 seasons.
My biggest issue with ONLott, aside from some things in his evaluation, is he was apparently one of the big losers at the combine from a medical perspective. From the outside looking in, I have no idea what it means for his stock, but I think it’s likely he falls.
Is he peg legged? There is a correlation between peg leggedness and late round over performance.
Is he this years Mahogeny we get 3 rounds later than he shoud go?? I was on the phone with @BigNatty when we drafted Mahogeny. I squealed like a little girl into the phone then danced a jig.
Ahhh chronic knee issue… maybe that is why he only got 200 snaps a season. Dude is a flamethrower
Lott is quick off the snap and a good pass rusher. He can run sideline to sideline range in the run game but is a total liabilty on runs between the tackles. He was mostly used in sub packages because they had much better run defenders playing ahead of him, One being Elijah Simmons a NT that is about the exact opposite of Lott. Outstanding run defender with no pass rush or range. I would expect both players to be drafted sometime after round 5.
