OMG. Go see the movie.
Ooh, awesome. I never can tell based on trailers.
It peaked my interest, but I had planned on waiting for it’s streaming release… Worth the trip to the theater?
like Decaprio, Sean Penn, and Del Toro is ok , might just go see this. 2 hours 41 minutes long. whew-what the hell I made it through Lord Of The Rings…
Just watched the trailer. Looks pretty good but how can you have a movie about a missing daughter without Liam Neeson being the star? It’s impossible.

You ever see Battle of Algiers? Heavy homage to that. So a film about resistance but an intimate family story as well. And then snappy PT Anderson dialogue and whit. Definitely my favorite of his films though I like There Will Be Blood quite a bit as well.
Agreed, top 5 for me. Though if you’re looking for a movie to relax and watch, this isn’t it.
For sure. But at the same time I found it much more accessible than auteurs’ films typically are.
What I found amazing was how prescient the content is. I imagine the movie was probably written in 2022 or 2023 and yet it nails the ‘25 pivot to the T. Hopefully that is okay of me to post. Trying to be diplomatic here.
