I trust Brad Completely. He earned that trust to the highest extent. For me, this is the first time in 30 years. I did very little scouting this year because of it. But I’m still giving my opinions. For the most part, I’m always banging the table for DT’s, and DE’s.

Ha, me too. A lot of us suspected we’d love Arnold but predicting trade-ups (which we all knew it would require) is usually not good business. And I doubt anyone saw Rakestraw falling to 61 (though some may have had him in at 29). Vaki’s about the only one anyone will get right imo. It was pretty well-known that we loved him.
I think Sione Vaki is the epitome of Brad Holmes saying “we draft good football players despite position”.

This. A lot of us thought Arnold was the most perfect player for us (position, skill-set, grit). But like most of us, didn’t think he was attainable, and a little bit of a pipe dream even with a 3rd round trade up.
Raekstraw a lot of us loved also (including myself who compared him to Spoon). Would have been very happy with him at 29.
I’m not sure about back to back CB’s tho. Seems overkill.
Love Sanu. Love any pick that OL, or DL with BroMart measurables.
Didn’t know a lot of people liked Vaki. I never even heard of him. Just seems like a good football player drafted for that reason only.
This team needs pass rush help. So, thats my only complaint. Hopefully they address those issues with their final two picks.

That’s what NFL shows. I’ve been trying to find clear info on what they have in 2025 but am giving up that effort. We’ll figure it out tomorrow.

There have been a lot of people saying that we believe our FO likes our DL a lot more than the fanbase does. Seems to be playing out.
I’ve always been an advocate of you can never have enough CBs in this league, so I’m fine with it. Unlike you I wasn’t Rakestraw’s biggest fan, but if Brad likes him I’ll come around, he certainly knows a lot more than me. Much better at 61 than 29 at least.

Wheeling and dealing: Eagles traded picks No. 132 and No. 210 to the Detroit Lions for picks No. 164, No. 201, and a 2025 4th-round pick. Eagles now have added extra 2025 third-, fourth- and fifth-round picks alone today.
What the Detroit News article doesn’t report is that the Eagles kicked back 210 to the Lions, so it’s really 132 for 164 and the 4th Rd 2025 Eagles pick.
Damn Bears got Austin Booker in the 5th. Really liking their draft.
