One game overreaction? In my view, yes.
When you’re trying to make a Super Bowl run, you don’t give away valuable depth.

We have no depth at Edge
I want to trade for players , Not trade away
I’m still hoping cincy sucks and we can get Trey Hendrickson at the deadline
If I knew the path we would take with Houston, I would’ve already traded him. He got a lot of pub after his insane production. His trade value would’ve been significant. He offers very limited value as an inactive. Certainly a legit #2/3 receiver would’ve been an easy net in trade. And we’d be a much better team for it.
Especially with Davenport already on the injury report. He’s very likely to miss time soon based off of his history.
I feel like a Paschal/Houston platoon could mitigate Davenport’s loss somewhat.
Hahahaha… trade him for a 5th or 6th maybe if we are lucky?
No.
I was really disappointed in Paschal Sunday.
He was almost invisible in his 22 snaps.
He didn’t show in the box score either with no tackles or assists. Not sure if he got any pressures.
His PFF score was one of the lowest on the team as well.
I expected more.
Hopefully he will be better Sunday.
He’s been struggling seemingly. That being said, with Commish out I think he (or perhaps Levi) on early downs and Da Problem swapped in for obvious passing down juice probably would be our best way to make up for Marcus being out.
Did you look at any replays yet to hone in on anyone?
Depends on what we can get with a houston return, otherwise not atm.
If he can help land us a better pass rusher potentially or an upgrade at X/Y Wr, then you consider it.
He might also land a player to fill in for an injury down the line.
If Houston plays in only 8 games and has 3 sacks, he will out perform any 5th round WR.
maybe package DPJ and Houston to get a little better player?
DPJ is worth nothing. If we had any chance at Hendrickson, the Houston could help reduce the cost just a little. Also I want to see how long Davenport lasts.
Ill be honest, while alot of people will be looking at adding Maxx Crosby from the raiders…
Davante Adams might be a legit target at the deadline if they continue to struggle, and if the Raiders can eat the cap on it.
Will be 33 and 34 for the last two years of his contract, but it would put our WR core of Adams, Jamo and ARSB, along with Laporta, Gibbs and Monty into overdrive for coverage. No one, and i mean no one can ever be double covered in this offense.
Would likely cost our 2nd to do so, but having potentially 2 and half years for Davante where he still looks good is prime for our current window rn.
I thought he played well in the NFC Championship game. Still have a lot of hope for him.
Davante Adams does not block.
No block no rock.
Plus too expensive. $35M base for 2025-2026, plus another $610K for roster and workout bonuses each year.
Onboarding a WR in a timing offense midseason just feels like a fool’s errand to me.
Let’s make do with Patrick, Robinson and Williams rounding out the group.
If that’s now Jamo and our 1-2 stay healthy we’re just fine at WR.
I did say, Raiders eat the cap hit in that trade scenario.
