Kellen Moore is a Genius and Dak is better than Stafford …Just ask Iggy.
The Cowboys ended up 8-8 they beat the Giants & Skins twice , the Dolphins, the Lions (- Stafford) , Eagles & Rams
Dak threw 0 TD’s & scored 9 pts against the Eagles when it mattered most & with the opportunity to win the Division.
Dak threw 4 TD’s in the first quarter of games and the team only scored 7, 1st quarter TD’s all year (Go Kellen Moore)
In games decided by 14 points or less the Cowboys were 2-8, they were 0-5 in games decided by 7 points or less (When they were in a fight or one score game they got their ass handed to them)
In games decided by 15 points or more the Cowboys were 6-0 (When they were winning against bad teams they poured it on late)
In the 8 wins against scrubs Dak threw 22 TD’s and 4 Int’s and in these wins Zeke avg 102 yds per game with 1.1 TD and a 5.2 yds per carry
They lost 8 games because Dak is an average QB, in the 8 losses , Dak threw 8 TD’s and had 8 Turnovers, avg over 20 more yards passing per game and avg 10 more pass attempts in games he lost .
They lost to the Bears, Packers & Vikings and would have been swept by the North had Stafford played as they were in a dogfight to start the 4th with Driskel playing
Looks like they’re pushing hard to keep Moore. When you have a coach like him, you do whatever it takes to retain him. Probably only a year or two until he becomes a HC. He is special.
