Some Do and Some Dont,
Zion Young (who many wanted) only played 12 snaps and hasnt shown anything either. Lukas Van Ness has struggled with play and he was a FRP. Remember James Houston, who was super hot out of the gate, then completely fell out of the league because he was a one trick pony?
we are only 2 games into his career, writing him off as a bust instantly is incredible short shortsightedness

With all due respect, the players mentioned haven’t proven anything so far. Tate seems like the safest. Tyleik did next to nothing last season and had to drop a lot of weight. I mean, what has he done in two games? The Bills ran all over this team. We know nothing of Moore yet.
There isn’t a player right now. Brad has been on Matt Millen’s level. I love Brad Holmes and so badly want him to turn it around, but this is truth.
Brad blew the 2024 draft but the 2025 looks like a C but I need to know what teams drafts in 2026 has popped more than ours
we made a big deal trading up for jamo and the fact that the jury is still out at this point to me means probably not a great pick for us. especially considering he’s a deep ball threat that has issues catching a deep ball.
traded up to get teslaa who is invisible.
amon ra is a great draft pick. knocked it out of the park. he will also die like gibbs will if we have to have him handle the ball 10 times a game.
lets not forget the 3rd round pick on hooker. yes every gm strikes out but imo he has more swings and misses, especially on ‘projects’ than what I’m comfortable with.

it is to me. amon ra is a much better producer than jamo ever has been.
can he stretch the field? yep. you can also count on him to have a couple bad drops almost every game.
i dont think the jury is still out on Jamo. I think we’ve accepted who he is. Or most of us have. Some think he’s better than what he is. He will not live up to where he was drafted including the trade up, but he’s a fine #2. Jamo is a big play threat who doesn’t have reliable hands, and he is inconsistent. If they pass enough he’ll get 1,000 yards. He’s a good player. But he’ll never be a great player. And thats fine.
St Brown is a 1st ballot HOFer.
That shouldn’t be the standard for other players drafted

well that’s just it, we trade up and took a higher 1st round pick for him. that shows that while not a bust, we overdrafted him, but then again I think anyone would have considering what his skillset has shown.
he keeps it up, guaranteed. dude is fantastic.
Jamo was not overdrafted and the returns that wide receivers with less production than he had fetched in trade is proof
If Jamo hits the trade block he’s getting a 1st back drops and all

I agree with you. Its part of why I said we’ve accepted who he is. Like, we’ve moved on. He’s not a bust, and he’s good, but yes overdrafted. I wanted Hamilton. Which i would happily trade Jamo for.

Nah, Brad’s been one of the top roster builders/drafters in the NFL the past 5 seasons.

Jamo is at worst an A- pick/trade/decision right now. The jury is not out on him my friend. He’s an elite #2 WR at his floor.
He’s going for more than Waddle just went for. The hate this guy receives from his own fanbase is unreal. Especially considering what a great team player and non diva he is for the position. Like wtf…
cool. we should probably throw to him then. even when we went ‘oh shit we’re way behind just throw the ball’ dude had 2 receptions for 33 yards. 7 yards more than teslaa.
He’s averaged 650 yards and 4 TD since he was drafted. It is hard to argue that his production has matched his draft slot. This was always the problem trading up for a guy who wouldn’t play his rookie year, compounded by his not being very good his 2nd year either. His trend is up which I’m sure anyone responding will point out, but that also doesn’t justify his draft slot.

12 pass catchers have more receiving yards the last 2 seasons. 12…there’s 32 teams in the league and we have 2 of the top 13 most productive WRs. Yeah he’s a bust for sure…
