I live in DC. Had a great job at a multimedia company in the dot-com early 2,000’s. Company had season tickets to Caps and the 2 got raffled off once a week.
I happened to be at Ovechkin’s debut. Saw him on NHL ice with 0 points. Just got to see 890!
Goal 890. Ovie has over 700 assists!

The man broke his leg this year lmao. He is easily 260 pounds right now. Washington has themselves positioned to be very good for a longgggg time even once OV goes. Their drafting is incredible. It is funny to listen to Wings fans try and pump up their prospect pool. If you want to look and see what young talent looks like look at Washington. Leonard, Hutson and the other Protas brother who is dominating the OHL at 6 foot 5 
. These 3 will be stars and haven’t gotten started yet.
