Well there goes that undefeated season they were talking about earlier in the week ![]()
One of my favorite things to do is watch videos of divisional fan bases lose their shit after a loss. This week will be a doozy with Green Bay losing to Cleveland the way they did. Undefeated? Not so much.
I don’t get the attention economy. Why would someone commit to putting themselves out there to the world to look like that?
Also, if “freak out” is your aesthetic, “freaking” isn’t going to cut it as an adjective. Up the profane behavior maniac Packers fan.
(a) reminds me of our gameday threads
(b) only a packer fan would start cheering for the refs
I don’t get it either my man… Tells me I got old. I used to watch my friends play video games until it was my turn… Now kids pay to watch other people play video games on twitch or whatever other platform
My daughter’s favorite YouTuber was literally a dude reacting to jump scare video games… I dated a girl who’s brother-in-law’s “job” was playing call of duty. He’d stream 10-12 hours a week and make enough from that to afford a pretty decent house, truck, boat… I don’t get it.
Devotion is synonymous to addiction and the addictive, narcissistic behavior….
I love my team, and The Den or I would not be member here…. But not that much…. Not anymore…. If I allow a game to dictate my sanity and peace, I got bigger problems than a lose in a game
Feeling sad for the dude actually
I don’t feel sad for him or any other fanatical sports fan out there. Is it meaningless? Yeah, probably in the grand scheme of things, but most things in life are meaningless. Hell, our own lives are pretty much meaningless. Within a couple of decades, we will be forgotten names in a family tree ledger. My 35-year-old children don’t even know who John Wayne is and he was one of the world’s biggest stars just a few decades ago. My grandchildren have no idea who Britney Spears is.Some people go through life not passionate about anything, which is perfectly acceptable if that’s the way they choose to live their lives. Also, we don’t know if this fan is passionate about their children, their marriage, their job, their philanthropy, or their volunteer work. He may be full tilt in everything he does. We just don’t know. So I say to each their own. If he wants a football game to dictate his mood for a day or a week, who am I to say he’s wrong? That’s the way he chooses to live.
People will do ANYTHING for attention and likes
It’s that simple
For many today their value is determined by the number of likes or responses they get on different platforms. My adopted daughter, 30, had this mentality for a long time, it’s just in the last 3-4yrs that her outlook has changed on this.
Its actually heartening to hear that people can break this addiction. Good for her!
Scripted—LOL

Thankfully you stopped at 3…lol
Annie always gets a pass.
I’m with you. I used to let every game weigh me down but finally got right a few years back. I get pissed during the game but then it’s back to reality. I was worried about fans this yer because we literally are coming off the greatest regular season ever for the Lions. This year I’m looking to see how we are playing in November and December and just wanting to be in the playoffs with a healthy and hot team.
The fact she has shown she makes bad decisions, like being a Packers fan, gives me hope. ![]()
At this point fan reaction videos to a team’s loss is getting old. It seems contrived at this point. Even Grossi just seems to be a character of himself that he created. I don’t even watch them anymore as they all seem non-authentic.
