Packers releasing Jaire Alexander

He’s been injured a lot the last few years but he was their best DB when healthy. Makes the Pack less talented.

Great player that just can’t stay on the field. Not someone Lions should bring in IMO, seems like we are set in the backfield. But will get signed somewhere.

Those are contradictory statements.

We talking about Davenport?

Not only does he have injury problems but he’s also a diva. Talented player but definitely needs a fresh start somewhere else. The whole thing where he went out for the coin flip was awesome lol.

Bong hits are a shitty coverage technique.

Unless you write for High Times or Leafly or something. I shouldn’t paint with such broad strokes.

Packers may need to move some of those WRs to CB at this rate.

The Cheetos save $17M in cap space by cutting him, so with his injuries/unavailability/ungritiness and turd factor, it was time to flush.

The Packers are still on a composting system from the Rodgers days.

Can’t? Or won’t?

Guys above already have it, Jaire is talented but also a headcase. Facts are he grifted the Packers last year. He had a legit knee injury early on, but by the end of the year he was practicing all week and then sitting out for the game, so he was milking it. Then this offseason, he wants to talk contract. I guess it’s clear those contract talks weren’t going so well. If I were the Packers, or any future team, that contract would be heavily based on playing time. You know, to help him keep his head in the game.

while not an ACL, he DID injure a PCL. so only sign him for like 3 years, then extend after the ACL.

Chicago will probably go after him.

He’s good when healthy, glad to see him out of GB before he finally puts it all together

Not that I want him to go there, but I could see the Rams as well. He could reunite with Adams and the diva culture in LA would suit him perfectly.

Looks like a future cowboy to me lol.

The obligatory Tom Grossi comment:

Could see the Fins signing him. They are razor thin at CB, with Ramsey gone soon. McDaniel coaching for his job this year, may be worth the gamble for them.

I think it could be the Vikings. Their corners are ass, and they have money with a rookie QB contract.

I thought about that one as well. Might give Alexander a chance to stick it the pack as well. Kind of like Aaron Jones did.

Missed half the games last 4 years. Talent drops and 17m cap smack.
