If it’s prohibitively expensive then obviously we don’t need it that bad. I didn’t know you paid to set up embeds.

Yeah, it’s a bit more complicated than that. Unfortunately X killed the workaround that forums like ours used to embed posts for free. The only supported way now is through their official API, which costs an absurd amount of money (thousands per month) just to display embeds.
