Paschal absence due to treatment after cancer screening

Sorry to hear that.
We dealt with cancer this year with my daughter, treatments are over and she is cancer free. But it is rough to see her and all the others sitting there for the treatments.

And I think that we simply think we’re more advanced than we really are

Hmmm. That is going to be the next step for me Logy, as the traditional stuff hasn’t worked. I don’t have all the details yet, but I’m told that there has been great success in the experimental trial that want to put me in.

I wonder if it’s the same thing? Either way, your post makes me feel a little hopeful.

Thanks

If it was only a skin biopsy, would that really keep him from playing this week?..I wouldn’t think so imo but Idk. My father has had several small melanomas removed and its really not that big of a deal, possibly a stitch or two and a bandaid.

I’ve had 2 forms of skin cancer also. Depends where and how deep the surgery was to remove the cells.

Had a c-word scare with my child that will forever make moments like what he must have gone through more real than I’d care to know. His having gone through it once already and then to find a mass… that’ll short-circuit your thought processes while waiting for the call.

Grateful he’s healthy… Now that that’s behind him, he can focus on getting that Lombardi stress free

it can be. I had one where they cut into the deep layers of skin.

took a couple weeks to fuze, which could be the issue here

Damn, gnarly… Depending on how deep the cyst was, there could absolutely be muscle tissue that needs to heal for 3-4 weeks before he’d be ready

When you think about Cancer and how it works you realize what athreat it is. It is your own body making a mistake in replicated cells, but the replicating part is not broken, so the bad cell just goes on replicating itself. Looks like we will never be able to stop cancers from forming because we can never stop individual cells from making mistakes when replicating. I myself right now will go in for skin cancer surgery on the 8th of Dec. My niece has throat cancer and will not survive. Last month she wqas driving and did not have her oxygen on and suffered hypoxia, same thing pilots can get going too high, she ended up parked in a parking lot all night about 30 miles away from home not knowing where she was. They finally found her. She wants to go to Florida to live her last months with her son.

I hope we someday find a full-on cure for this dreaded condition.

I don’t want to get too conspiratorial… But I have my doubts big pharma would allow a cure for a disease that makes them trillions of dollars…

AI can solve these problems, the next 3-5 years could be Earth shattering as that tech develops… The impossible will be possible…

Sorry to hear about your neice. My wife died from throat cancer. Prayers for her, you, and your family. Good luck with your surgery.
