Pat McAfee: “Same old Lions.”

Welp, that was a painful segment.

I’m very selective in what I watch or listen to after a loss. These hot takes are absolutely ridiculous from week to week. I do like the Necessary Rougness podcast though.

Here’s how it feels to me:

Bears loss is like the Panthers loss last year. Ugly loss on the road in a game we should’ve won.

Packers loss is like the Bills loss on Turkey day

Ravens yes we got beat down like Pats us did and the Seahawks beat us as usual just like 2022.

I don’t see why we can’t find it in us to get hot again like we did last year with James Houston coming back.

Beating Denver
Beating Minny
Dallas has their murderers row schedule

We go 3-1

That means we finish 7 out of 10 after the Baltimore Beat down

Should’ve won against the Bears yesterday? Based on what?

This team is soft… SOOOFFFFTTTTT… They’ll be lucky to beat Minnesota at home and go 1-3 with how they’ve played the last 5 weeks.

Being the division leading team, with a lead at half and getting the ball to start the 3rd Qtr

Last years Bills team was a lot better then the Packers and this years Ravens team is a lot better then last years Pats team. Don’t agree with the comparisons here. No excuse for getting beat by mediocre inferior teams or playing like shit for the last month. Playing our worst ball of the year in December is cause for concern.

The Lions will beat Denver this week. I think they beat Minny twice. They win the division. They may not win a playoff game though.

So by right? Does what they did in the 2nd quarter make them deserving to win regardless of what they did in the other 3 quarters? The other team doesn’t matter? I’m confused… Based on the product they put on the field, the Lions got blown out of the water in all facets of the game and didn’t deserve to win… No should’ve anything… They played 45 minutes of crap

I hope you’re right… I see another national TV ass kicking…

I trust Dan….even though he’s been part of the problem. I’ve said all along I don’t like the 4th down shit….but Dan is bumping his head a lil bit. He will get it and the Lions will win once he gets it! :100:

Since the bye week of 2022, we have not had a 5 game stretch of less than 3-2. We win our next 2 games and that string of more wins than losses continues.

When your “bad stretches” are 3-2, you’ll be OK.

If we are up at half and getting the ball to start the 3rd quarter, we should win the game.

It’s that simple.

We didn’t because we went 3 3andouts. A fumble. 2 stopped 4th downs. and then an INT.

Yes we sucked 2nd half. But we should’ve won that game.

They were lucky to be up…

and it was only 3 points.

As soon as they went 3 and out to start the 2nd half…
in about 62 seconds… there was zero advantage…

On the road… in conditions that don’t bode well for this team…
and against a running QB.

Lions really just got lucky that the Bears abandoned the run game… particularly read option looks… in the 2nd half.
Any decent play calling by the Bears could have resulted in another blowout.

Look at the run to pass ratio for Bears in 2nd half…

Okay, so based on circumstances, not because they deserved it… Got it

We definitely didn’t deserve to win that game we all agree on that

I don’t mind when one of my boys here goes SOL on the Lions. That’s OK. We’re kin.

If McAfee, Hawk or any of the drunken minions did, they can go to hell. 2-faced bastards.

The problem isn’t what the sports pundits think.
It’s what the team thinks. They just don’t have the same confidence, and you have to wonder, why?
