Actually, it wasn’t McAfee himself, but one of his video producers, Evan Fox, who is from Michigan and a Pistons/Lions fan.

I’m not sure I would be for this, BUT, if you think Blough would have been good then I don’t see why you wouldn’t think Dan O could do it.
Dan O hung around for 12 years as a QB, and has done a ton of Play analysis over the past 7 years, he has basically seen every offense and defense out there.
David Blough - 5 years as a QB, 2 years as assistant QB coach. Has no where near the film experience that Dan O has.
I actually wouldn’t want either, but if I had my choice between the 2 I think Dan O brings way more experience and has seen what defenses try to do against the DC/Lions offense

Blough has actual experience as an assistant coach. Orlovsky has none.
DanO would need to cut his teeth as an assistant QB coach somewhere and work his way up. No responsible GM is going to hand him an OC job without experience outside of playing a limited amount about 10 years ago.
While you’re at it, why don’t you give me a nice paper cut and pour lemon juice on it?

Wouldn’t do the pain of the Millen years justice unless it was really deep and on that stretch of skin between the thumb and first finger

Everyone got this one wrong! Dan O was just being proactive in case he fumbled the ball. Didnt want a turnover since his small hands only had one hand on the ball. So by running out the endzone… no possibility of a fumble
I’ve been wondering about this a lot too. It has to be his choice right? Like, he’s super comfortable as just a QB coach and doesn’t want to go any higher?
Anyone have any insight on this?
