Damn…only 25 years old.
That’s horrible news. That stuff’s no joke. Hopefully they get on top of it. Are there any treatment plans that are growing in popularity with the growing number of cases?
It’s a damn shame honestly
Ended Tommy Frazier’s career. Although back then that would have been in the CFL.
This is one of those life-threatening conditions treated with rubbing dirt, smelling salts, or bootstraps right?
Why is it when I see “blood clot” I think of Jamaica.
“Eh mon you’re a blood clot”. (I think that was used as an insult in the movie “Marked for Death”)
Referring to female period blood…
All my Jamaican references come from Marked for Death lol. They should come from Bob Marley, but no I chose a Steven Seagal movie(before he turned into a psycho)
Feel horrible for the guy. Absolutely sucks.
But at least he got his payday first. $31.8m guaranteed.
Been reading about Autophagy this afternoon. Didn’t realize how beneficial my long-distance bike rides were before breaking fast. Gotta get back in the groove.

The “unprovoked” term indicates that no underlying condition is found when he is evaluated.
They will check labs for any kind of genetic clotting disorder, and also check for any signs of cancer. Unfortunately… some people find out they have cancer after having a clot like a DVT or PE.
Most people in the “unprovoked” scenario would take Eliquis or Xarelto. Technically… Barmore weighs more than the 120kg recommended weight limit for using the “DOAC meds. …
so they may have take warfarin instead. Then again… he could choose to do Lovenox Sub-Q injections…. though some people aren’t keen on poking themselves in the abdomen 2 times daily.
If an underlying issue is found to be the cause… he may be advised to stay on anticoagulants longer… and that underlying condition may be more of the factor that determines if or when he can play again.
Right, I try and do my exercise training in a fasted state, with intermittent fasting almost every day.
Definitely sucks to have to put aside the thing you’ve dreamed about and worked for your entire life, and figure out what you’ll be when you can’t do that anymore. But starting with $32 million in the bank should cushion the blow while he works it out!
