For as much as the Lions invested in TeSlaa, I have a hard time seeing the Lions trade him for anything less than a TJ Hockenson level trade package (or more).
They aren’t trading Teslaa. He’s pretty important to this offense in ways that don’t always show up on the stat sheet.

I have watched a lot of Eagles games the past couple years and AJ Brown is one of the most overrated players in the nfl. Barely gets any separation on routes. Eagles did well trading him away when they did and got a good haul for him. Already getting close to 30. To get a first rounder was a good move.
Mid 20s AJ Brown was terrific.
That’s why it’s always tricky paying guys big 2nd contracts. Are you paying for what he did in the past or what you hope he does in the future.
That’s what Meeks is for. If for some reason Isaac Teslas needs to become the second wide receiver, I think the season is doomed.
