To improving the roster? Do you lean in on defense? Offense? Split resources evenly between the two? Is it simply let value come to you/don’t force the issue?
My road map is what Brad has done. Fill most of the “holes” in FA with saavy FA moves. So probably an OL, SAM LB, IDL, outside CB/S who can start. And then attack the draft in BPA.
Someone like Ty Robinson makes some sense. You can lean on him as a 3T while Alim is getting back and then he becomes your multi-positional ultra-violent ass kicker thereafter.
Which means you need a legit NB, so Branch can move back to safety. Otherwise you’re looking at adding 2 safeties - a starter and a backup at some point this offseason.
We need to find a way to get a good OL prospect (unlike Manu…someone ready to play now) while also getting an impact pass rusher and a defensive back before the end of day 2.
Fortunately, when AG leaves (), we’ll have three picks in the first three rounds to get that done.
