I turned on the game and the score read 71-29. I had to look at it for awhile, I though the stat might be something else like shooting percentage or something. Nope - it was the halftime score. The 42 point lead at the half was their biggest in franchise history. Later in the game it grew to a 49 point lead (108-59).
Thoroughly dominating performance, and that was with Hardaway going 1-6 from 3, and Duren only scoring 4 points. Ausar Thompson is going to be a future DPOY.
I no longer watch NBA, as a matter of fact, I’ve learned to completely GAS about the game. But thanks for posting, I’d love to see D-Town have a yaer where the Tigers, Pistons, Wings, and Lions made/make the PO’s.
Did they win?
Funny.
In the third quarter, when they were up 45, I was in the process of making a bet to take Chicago +42.5. I was going to put alot of money on it for me, $500. But I had computer issues and it didnt go through. I’m almost glad it didn’t, I would have been sweating bullets because we pretty much maintained the lead - we won by 40.
The most noteworthy stat:
For the first time all year, Cade Cunningham did not have a turnover.
(He still has more games with ten turnovers vs. no turnovers).
And, the best part is, we get to play those guys AGAIN today.
