Washington is the highest powered offense in the NFL scoring 31pts a game.

#2 is the Lions at 30 pts a game

#3 is Tampa 29

#4 is Bal 29

Followed by Buf and Min with 28.

Then GB at 26 and Sea 25.

The Lions Defense has faced 4 of the top 8 offenses in the NFL so far.

Followed by ARZ and DAL who are ranked 19th and 20th.

The Titans are the worst ranked offense we will face all season. They’re ranked 27th but they are also the number 1 ranked defense in yards given up.

Which is odd. Thier not giving up the yards but they are the points. They’re ranked 22 in points allowed giving up 24 points a game on average.

Which tells me they’re losing the battle of field position. Their opponents must be working on a short field a lot or they’re turning the ball over a lot.

Ten is -1.5 in turnover margin and they are giving up 2 turnovers a game which both are 31st in the league.

One stat that’s bugging me is penalties. The Lions are giving up nearly 70 yards a game in penalties. Which ranks 30th in the league. If we could just clean that up I think our offensive and defensive rankings would be some of the leagues best.

It’s been brutal this season. Would be nice to have a clean game like most of them were last season.

I believe it’s been pick six city for them this year. Explains the points and the defense differential. But Levis is out now.

It feels like we’re improving here in penalties but the stats show us as one of the worst over the last 3 games.

Some of those defensive holding and PI penalties are weak and our OL sure false starts and gets called for holding too frequently… Which is surprising. I’m expecting both to improve.

I think both of those areas will improve. Awosika was brutal those first few drives. Luckily he’s a contingent player and not a main cog. Decker seems to be showing a little slippage too.Hopefully mahogany is improving. Manu next year. This team is so stacked for now and the future. We can be a powerhouse for the next decade or more. I’m going to have grandma pinch me. You know… Afterward.
