Pool report: maybe Pack didn’t get hosed?

Seems like they may have gotten it right, including the grounding call.

Nah, ■■■■ ‘em…give them all the hosing.

It was all bullshit calls but I’ll take it

The world doesn’t seem right.

Interference called to reverse Goff’s interception?
Roughing the passer called when the guy was clearly just tackling Goff?
St. Brown and a Packer going at it, and it being called against them?

The Lions NEVER get these calls. These are laws of the Universe. I wouldn’t be surprised if water boils at a lower temperature tomorrow.

Don’t care. We’ve been hosed at their benefit way too many times. You know what I heard when I cried?

“Good teams overcome.”

The roughing call for the extra hit on St Brown was pretty obvious. The whistle had blown, just because he got back up like he wanted to keep running doesn’t mean you can body slam him. Maybe neither of them heard the whistle, but for player safety they have to call it.

I hadn’t thought about the line of scrimmage on the grounding call. I just assumed the officials thought that nearly 5 yards away was too far to be considered “in the area” of the TE.

I don’t think St Brown was running. He was doing his tough guy routine. Still the Packer guy deserved the penalty. Can’t do that.

St Brown wasn’t down. Both knees were on the tackler. He correctly realized he should still run. It was only because the play had been whistled dead that the ensuing tackle was legitimately a personal foul.

The Pack got hosed on some calls today, there is no denying that. Refs suck in general. Some games, we get screwed, some other games, we don’t. The Packers have benefitted from officiating ‘gaffes’ over the course of time more than just about any other team. Did they get hosed? Yes, they did. Cry me a ■■■■■■■ river. They smiled their way to all those victories over the years with holding never called, phantom hands to the face, DPI, and the list goes on and on. FTP, I don’t feel one bit bad. Don’t like it Pack fans? Why not speak up when you’re the beneficiary? Oh, that’s right, you don’t care THAT much.

I totally missed that then. I just assumed it was the tough guy routine because he does that after almost every catch he makes. It’s like Roy Williams and the first down signal.

They showed it twice in slo mo. He realized neither knee hit the turf and the tackler let up on him assuming he did. So he popped up but thebref blew it dead and the other Fudgoe popped him.

Those roughing the passer call though? Hot terrible sewage. Glad it was to our benefit but this is what happens when tou try and regulate behavior so tightly involving split second views from not always the best angle and make the window of compliance unnatural and tiny for these 300lb humans after some quick judo and and dance moves.

It needs to go back to blows to the head, over 2 steps lead after the ball is out and then refs discretion on intent to injure by piledriving. It sounds like it’s not a big change, but we all see how DUMB it’s gotten, so it really is a bigger change than just reading the words.

FTP. The Packers spent years getting every call in their favor. Goff has taken cheap shots for years with no flag. He gets one marginal call and it’s an issue?

The two closest Packers to St. Brown knew the play was over because one helped the other off the ground before the other guy tried to body slam Saint.

The only play they got hosed on was the grounding and I’m not sure that pass made it to LOS

St’s elbow and forearm was down.

I was about to say the same thing.

Of course they got it right, guys. The GB coach himself saying they got it right - enjoy. FTP!!

Of Course They Got It Right

Nah, the only clear bs one was the roughing the passer call on the last drive which we would have all been fuming about had it been the Lions penalized in that situation. All the others were the right calls even if they were borderline. The Packers have nobody to blame but themselves for this loss, dumb penalties, missed FGs and a laughable 4th down call. The Lions had their own errors too but it felt like the Packers led the brain fart brigade today.

A similar call happened against us in Carolina

It’s nice to see the packer fans bitching for a change about calls going against them hahaha for one day they can feel what we felt for decades.
