I do wonder if it would be possible to actually get both Baun and Woolen, say for a 3rd and a 6th? We have 2 6ths, and Woolen’s been so bad his value can’t be great. Lions can also keep waiting for the Chargers to accept reality and trade one of their corners.
Just for Husker, the Lions could work something out with Miami and tell Brents to come on over after the game.
I think LB is a massive need both short and long term. The Lions barely have enough people right now, and that’s assuming no additional injuries (yea right). The only LB under contract next season is Rolder coming off a season ending injury. LB is code red.
The Chargers hanging on to their players at 0-7 is like parents trying to protect their 16 year old from the divorce. They know what’s happening. They hear you bickering through the vents instead of screwing. Hell, they’ve already picked a side! So the Chargers should drop the charade with their fans (both of them) and start selling. I’d love to score a discount Kahlil Mack and I’ll bet he’d love to jump off a sinking ship and go to a team gearing up for a playoff run.
Yup… He’s got the size and run defense they like, and he’s still got juice to get after the QB. Who’s snaps is he taking? My guess would be Moore’s. Would cost a little over $4 million for the rest of the season.
Maybe if the two players listed have their contracts up at end of season? And they have notoriously been tight with renewals. Only reason I can think of since contending. Both would be great additions.
Yep, I bet they are. We already know topics we’ve discussed have immediately appeared on 97.1. I am guessing they’ve got a producer or someone who scans this board and places like Reddit for topics.
