Yeah, they’ve got try to add one more functional dude there, and one of those vets, if truly available, on a one year deal is pretty much mandatory imo…come on Brad, you’re allllmooost there with the 2026 DE position!

I want a DT added. I’m cool with the edge group. Payton Turner makes the team over either West or Hass.

Maddox also belongs in the top. He’s on the team even with a healthy Kerby and Branch.

And give me Bartch over Manu and I would say that’s the best 53

Yea i already switch out Maddox for Harper.

The 9th OL id definitely a toss up between Botch and Manu

5th DE is a toss up between those 3.

I just always favor recent draft picks over fill in FAs because typically thats what the Lions do. Especially those bottom of the roster players.

We wont know until September 1st

Sewell - moving to left side will take some adjustment

Mahog - playing between an aging Decker and Glasgow likely effected LG play. Being between Mays and Sewell should make his just 100% easier.

Mays - Our “veteran” at 27 years old. HUGE upgrade over Glasgow.

Ratledge - good rookie campaign. Expect another good 2nd season. He won’t have Sewell to his right but he also won’t have to worry about Glasgow on his left.

Miller - Obviously a downgrade from Sewell but the tackle situation overall will be better in 2026. Slight drop in Sewell moving after years on the right but Miller = upgrade over Decker.

Some solid depth as well. Our oldest starting O-line = 27 or younger so expect them to be together for at least a couple of years if they play to their potential.

At least with Miller on the right side if he whiffs his block, Jared will see it coming.

Jared has said tho he hates seeing the pressure vs his blind side. However Decker has been average at best the last 2 years.

So even Average play from Miller will be an upgrade
