Reeder to the Jets, interesting.

Here’s for you @wolfcub36

I heard these two guys were going on the PS.

Tight end Thomas Gordon and DB Aamaris Brown

Aamaris Brown is back

I really like this kid. I’m happy about this.

A true sub package type of player. But he seems to have good football instincts. Hopefully the rest can come together for him.

What’s good, and crazy (sad?) is I am anxiously waiting to hear about Mason Miller. I really want to see him back on the team. I normally put very little stock in preseason, and especially the last game where everyone just wants to survive, but man I was impressed with a guy who has never played Center before, playing it and doing well. I’ll go ahead and say it, I liked him better than what I saw from Seth.

Tom Kennedy is back too.

No waived Lions claimed

Nobody claimed by the Lions either

The slowness of the NFL to release the waiver wire claims is worse every year.

Goodell needs to be fined.

That’s interesting on both fronts. The Lions didn’t see anyone else out there who could improve the roster, and none of the players we let go were taken by other teams. That should make filling the PS pretty easy. If we lost no player on waivers, then apparently Brad’s ability to know who to release and who not to has reached full clairvoyance.

They could have put a bunch of claims out there. But they might have been claimed by teams ahead of them.

That’s true, good point.

All Lions cuts cleared the waiver wire, time to build the PS. So far we have inked:
Tight end Thomas Gordon
DB Aamaris Brown
Jets signed LB Troy Reeder
Edit, of course they have added Tom Kennedy to the PS. Lucky Jackson just added as well.

Here is who claimed what.

I mean the list of claims isn’t exhaustive, and the same teams made a bunch of them, and it’s not exactly a who’s who. I think teams are just more interested in bringing guys into the PS unless they have gash rosters like Miami and Atlanta

Lucky Jackson is back.

Per Nolan Bianchi, RB Treyveon Williams is not joining the Lions PS. That’s too bad. He has the size and ability to be that bigger back we need. Although with the Lions still having 5 RBs ahead of him on the roster, it’s likely he knew the chances for getting to the roster or playing time were nearly non-existant.
