As a QB, you cannot wait until the very last second before getting hit and then decide you want to slide.
Defenders don’t know what a QB is going to do, the QB is the same as a RB at that moment, so as a Defender you are preparing to tackle the runner and you’re taught to tackle low. When a QB slides it puts his whole body low. Id almost rather see the QB raise his arms in a surrender motion, it would ve safer for them.
I’m not so sure Trevor isn’t somewhat to blame for what happened.
With all that said, I pray the Trevor is ok and fully recovers.

When a dude goes full locked arm he has been concussed. I am no doctor but that shit is a clear physical sign that shit is way way wrong.
I need to see the hit on a full screen. It looks dirty as hell and for sure the defender is responsible for where his body goes. So my only defense was if had committed too much. But that was savage as heck. Meanwhile I watch Burrow and Mahomes slide and pop up super quick. So I am wondering if they are just a bit smarter about the situation and are proactive in avoiding any hits?
