@CuriousHusker you may be right about Boyd, he has shown the “stuff” but other DT’s from Northern Iowa have too with no results. The last one that did was probably DT James Jones who finished his 10 year NFL career as a…Detroit Lion in 2000.

Isn’t a pre-draft visit to the Lions a dead giveaway they aren’t drafting that player? Seems like that’s the case every year unless I’m forgetting something since Brad took over. Who knows, maybe that’s the point. Maybe this will be the first time.
It’s not all that rare at the combine. Top 30 meetings? Hutch and Kerby in 2022 and Hooker in 2023 2021 was weird so not especially comparable.
I thought the OP was talking about pre-draft visits, not combine visits. None of the guys you listed had a pre-draft visit, only a combine visit. Perhaps I am confused.

Okay, then as I said in my original post, I’m remembering it wrong. I’m probably thinking of all the pre-draft visits we didn’t draft. It’s been a long day lol.
They took a few of the pre visits last year. Seems like a good list
