I do not have a good feeling about this game…

If the weather turns out to be as bad as they are saying it will, I think it plays right into our strengths.

Just have to keep Fields from running up and down the field.

I’m out. Two times I’ve voted for comfy wins and we’re 1-1 without covering the spread on the win.

I think that’s why Ra was so mad - they didn’t meet your expectation.

Ra knew my expectations?

j/k

I know what you meant.

We win.

So that means you will now vote, right? LOL.

I’m looking forward to seeing Goff in some bad weather, just to validate that he’s not a liability outside of the dome. The last game we played outside the ball was coming out of his hand awful funny. I thought it was uncharacteristic, but others seemed to think is was par for the course with him.

Remember the snow game in Philadelphia? (I was at that game – here’s Calvin warming up for the second half). The Eagles set their team record for rushing yards that day. So I don’t know if snow will help us slow Fields down. Of course we’ve got a couple of running backs who could take advantage…

That game sucked azz. I can’t stand it when weather / field conditions significantly dictate the outcome.

Tough game coming up.
But our coaches know how their D attacks our O now and should have some better game planning.
Protect the football and Lions will show out as the better team.

Man, I’d really love to see a “get right” game here, dominate for 60 mins.

It seems weird to call this a get right game when we are 4-1 over our past 5 games. It does feel like that though.

For my own sanity, I really want to see us play a complete game.

Forget the tight window throws Goff makes if it’s windy at field level. Just no go. He has a strong arm, but not Stafford strong. So, this is going to disrupt the offense in a big way. And Ben should be aware of it and have another plan.

So yeah, we’re going to have to establish and maintain the run game all day. Keep them off balance with easy throws like screens. And then yeah, take some shots over the top and let Jamo run underneath a ball getting blown around, just make sure you know where it’s going to come down :joy:

If it’s windy AND the field is mushy - as Soldier Field can get - we’re kinda screwed IMO.

issue is its 30+ mph winds

this maybe as low scoring as the Pats-chargers game from last week tbh
