OTOH: if the Lions have a healthy lead by halftime, w/O and D looking good, thereâs no way DC doesnât pull some guys. Itâd be hella stupid to risk key guys going down in the 2nd half of an all-but-meaningless game just before a very rare Detroit-Lions-involved playoffs.
But itâs also hard to keep piling on points w/your backup QB playing behind some backup guys and throwing to backup guys. Much more likely that the game devolves into a slog at that point.
I donât want to see any trick plays. just run a lot of âstandardâ plays that you have trick plays for.

Both Monty and Gibbs go over 1,000 yards rushing on the season. Gibbs needs 85 and Monty needs 25 I believe.

This game worries me a bit. Mainly because itâs one of the few times I donât care too much if I miss out watching it.
If I feel that way, it makes me think the team might have a hard time getting up for a meaningless game as well. Saying all that, I am a die hard fan since the early 70âs. I never missed a second of any game in our 0-16 season.
My focus is now laser like on playoff football in Detroit.

LY in Pack land we had motivation to prove we were playoff worthy and keep Erin sitting on his a$$ for the rest of the year. I just donât feel a motivating vibe for this game.
